For the remainder of the month of December, and also for January 2025, Language Experts is offering you a comprehensive Calendar of unique and exciting training opportunities and resources.

These will help you to confidently provide language services whilst also meeting your pd certification/accreditation requirements. 

We are delighted to share with you our latest training and PD offerings.

First on the list is the 

The Medical Terminology for Interpreters and Translators is scheduled on Thursday, 19 December 2024 and again on 16 January 2025. 

The Ethics and Professionalism Course, an essential for all practitioners, will be on Saturday, 21 December 2024 and again on Friday, 3 January 2025. 

The Translation Techniques Course is scheduled on Saturday, 28 December 2024. 

The Duties and Responsibilities for interpreters and translators working in legal settings Course, scheduled on Saturday, 4 January 2025. 

On Sunday, 5 January 2025 we will deliver the Chuchotage course or whispered simultaneous interpreting course. 

The Introduction to Health-Legal Interpreter and Translator Course is scheduled on Thursday, 9 January 2025. 

The Law enforcement (Police) interpreter and translator course, is scheduled on Saturday, 11 January 2025. 

The Linguistics for translators and interpreters’ course will be delivered on Saturday, 25 January 2025. 

The Health and Medical Interpreter and Translator Course is scheduled over two days starting on Friday, 20 December 2024 and Friday, 27 December 2024 starting at 9:30am. 

The Legal and Court Interpreter and Translator Course, a specialisation course is scheduled over two days starting on Friday, 3 and 10 January 2025. 

The English Vocabulary Building and Punctuation Course will be delivered on Monday, 5 January 2025 and again on Monday 20 January 2025. 

The English Collocations and Articles Course will be delivered on Monday, 13 January 2025 and again on Monday, 27 January 2025. 

In addition to these courses, Language Experts offers a diverse selection of individual modules or competency units which are delivered regularly. These cover the fundamental skills critical for both practicing and aspiring translators and interpreters which include among many the Transfer Competence, Sight Translation, Chuchotage and Research Skills.

If you are after pd points, let me remind you that all our courses carry 20 pd points, with the exception of the two day courses which are 40 pd points, while the modules are 10 pd points for recertification.
